I’m in Year 2 – how can I prepare for graduation?
Last month the Registrar’s Office sent you an email on how to “Apply to Graduate”. You must complete this application through the Student Centre before April 30, 2019. This step is required even if you don’t plan to attend convocation.
Remember to complete your AFE Final Report during the last week of the Alternative Field Experience. Once you submit your Final Report electronically, your AFE Host will receive an email prompting them to complete their portion. The AFE Supervisor’s Report is due Monday, April 29, 2019. We encourage you to schedule ten minutes with them to complete this before your AFE ends…late submissions could affect your graduation timeline.
I’m in Year 2 – how do I apply for my Ontario College of Teachers license?
You can begin your OCT registration process now. Teacher candidates are responsible for completing the registration application and submitting all required documents, including transcripts, to the OCT.
Once you receive your 6-digit OCT registration number, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
I’m applying for jobs – where should I start?
Many Ontario school boards use the ApplyToEducation database to share their openings.
Teacher Education also receives many job postings every year. These are regularly added to TheTeacherCandidate.com – check back often. You are welcome to continue accessing these job postings as an Alumni.
