Year 2 – Professionalism: Federation Day

12:30 – 1:30 pm

As teachers in public school boards across Ontario, you’ll become members of the Ontario Teachers Federation affiliates. These afternoon sessions will go into detail about how the federation supports teachers, in addition to providing a detailed overview on how to join, pay information, and what it means to be a member. Register to attend the session related to the area you plan to teach in.

Reconnect with your fellow teacher candidates to celebrate the return to campus and the end of a successful practicum! Teacher Education staff will attend, so feel welcome to bring along any questions about the coming year and meet the new Associate Dean of Teacher Education and a special Western guest. Or, simply stop by for refreshments on your way to afternoon classes!
