Christopher Paul Curtis, the awarding winning children’s author, will be giving a free reading/talk at London Public Library on August 17 at 1pm. There will also be a youth spoken word poet and musician to celebrate his incredible work. This is a tremendous opportunity for teachers, children and families to hear this stunning author.
Christopher Paul Curtis has received the Newberry Medal and the Coretta Scott King award for his writing. As an African American/Canadian author, he has written books that share the African American experience through the eyes of the children who are both the subject of his books and the narrators of the story.
